Survey Results about Pro/Engineer 2000i^2 and Future Versions

In our February Tip-of-the-Month survey we asked you a few questions regarding the direction PTC (Parametric Technology Corporation) is taking with Pro/Engineer.  Here are the questions and your responses.  - Thank YOU all who took the survey!

If you are from PTC, PLEASE notice the strong bias in the results.

  • 1.  In new releases of Pro/Engineer, would you like PTC to focus more on making a stable product (bug fixes) or more on changing the user interface?

  •

  • 2.  In new releases of Pro/Engineer, should PTC support previous functionality (like menu options) from a earlier releases to allow time for users to get used to the new ways?

  •

  • 3.  Should PTC continue to release new versions of Pro/Engineer every 6 or 9 months as done in the past or should they delay the release to fix bugs and deliver a quality product?

  •

  • Optional Comments added to the survey are shown on the comments page.

Thanks again to all of you who took our survey.  The results have been e-mailed to a few high-ups at PTC.  We hope it will do some good to have our voices heard.  If you would like to e-mail your own comment directly to a VP at PTC click here.

Make Today a Wonderful Day!
